Went to Melaka on Friday and came back yesterday. We reached Melaka around noon on Friday because got traffic jam. Then, we wanted to try the chicken rice there as the chicken rice there quite famous. So we went to Jonker Street to look for chicken rice stall. But the entire chicken rice stalls have a very long queue. So we went to Mega Mall to have our lunch while waiting for 4yi’s family to arrive. After lunch, they have not arrived yet, so we walk around the mall while waiting for them. After a while, they finally reach Melaka! Then, 3yi told them to come to Mega Mall and meet us. After walking for a while more, some of us went back to the hotel to shower. We then meet to have dinner together. I ate Hokkien mee, quite nice. After dinner, we went to Jonker Street to shop this time. Shop till quite late. Very tired.
Next day woke up quite early, around 7pm. Went down to have buffet breakfast! The harsh brown very oiishi! After filling our stomach, we went to Peranakan museum. Only my family, Wanlin, Qiuyan, Zhanfeng and his girlfriend went in because the others came before. Quite happy cause got to see the place where the Little Nyonya show took place. After that, we went to meet 3yi and 4yi. While waiting for them, my daddy went to buy cendol to drink cause, it is also a famous food in Melaka. Then, Qiuyan, Jinglin and I queue for the chicken rice. Thus, we finally have chicken rice for our lunch. Yey! After finishing our lunch, it started to rain cats and dogs. Unfortunately, we do not have enough umbrellas for all of us. Some went to buy umbrellas while others wait under the shelter. When all of us have an umbrella, we went back to the hotel. Yijie’s umbrella got a hole. So by the time we reach the hotel, Yijie was drenched. Haha XD We waited for the rain to stop. Then, we went to Mahkota Parade to shop. Saw etude house there. After finishing shopping there, we went to Mega Mall to shop again. This time, we went to A&W to drink root beer float and eat curly fries. Yummy! Wanlin and Qiuyan told Jinglin and Yijie to queue up then they will pay for the foods. Haha>.< So sad Jiayu did not join us. She went to drink coffee. After finishing our food, we went shopping again! While Qiuyan went to have her pedicure, Jinglin, Yijie and I went to toilet. Wanlin went with us too. Got a long queue inside. After finishing our businesses, we went back to find Qiuyan. She was like enjoying her pedicure. Met our parents there. Went walk around the mall while waiting for Qiuyan to finish her pedicure. After that, we went to second level. We were so tired so we sat down while the adults go see clothes and stuff. Zhekai and Jinglin was like so irritating down there. After finish shopping down there, we went to have our dinner. Wanted to eat Peranakan food but the restaurant was closed so we ate in a hawker center. Qiuyan, Wanlin, Jiayu, Yijie, Jinglin, Zhekai and I sat together. We ordered our on food and order some common food to share. We had stingray. OMG! It was so delicious! Love it! Because I don’t like to eat fish, Yijie said that she thought that I don’t like to eat fish. Then I replied this is different, stingray very nice. Then I told her to try because she also doesn’t like to eat fish. After dinner, we went to book the leg massage thing. Then, we went back to hotel. When mummy went for leg massage, Jinglin, daddy and I watched a Hong Kong movie, Dating a Vampire. Jinglin was very sleepy so she slept before the movie ends. It was quite a nice show.
Next morning, my mummy’s alarm suddenly rang. It woke me up. Then, have buffet breakfast again! Ate many harsh browns. Yummy! After breakfast, went up to room to pack cause checking out that day. Watched Lilo and Stich. Very cute and funny. Then, my daddy suddenly off the TV and said that we are going out again. Hai~! Went shop shop. After finish shop shop, we went back and check out of the hotel. Sad that we are leaving the hotel. Then, went to eat Peranakan food. While waiting for the food to arrive, some went to buy curry puffs. Everyone enjoyed eating the delicious foods. But one of the dishes doesn’t taste very good to me. Qiuyan bought some coconut puff and she let us tried. It was oiishi! Then 3yi also let us tried the red bean puff that she bought. It was oiishi too! Having our stomach filled with delicious foods, we were on our way back to Singapore. I was so sleepy on the car that I felt asleep. When I woke up, can’t see Jiayu’s yellow car. Then asked where they are. My daddy said they drive till don’t know where liao cause they drive damn fast. So, only got 3yi’s light green car in front of us. Then, we go fill up the petrol tank. Felt hungry, so we ate curry puff. There, we saw Jiayu and family. HahaXD A lot of Singapore cars there. We then went back together from there. Got jam there but not as long as that time when we came. 3yi bring Qiuyan back first because she needs to attend a dinner. 4yi and us go wash car. After that, we meet some where to eat dinner together. Though we went there only for a few days, but I really enjoyed myself there!
